Before You Ship

Five quick rules that decide whether a claim is accepted. Missing any of them is the most common reason a claim gets rejected.

  1. Declare your goods value accurately

Compensation is based on the value you declared, not the market price. Under-declaring lowers your premium but voids the claim.

  2. Pack fragile items properly

Damage caused by inadequate packaging is excluded from coverage. Ask your supplier for bubble wrap, foam inserts, or double-boxing for anything breakable.

  3. Keep your invoice or proof of value

You will need to provide the original purchase invoice when filing a claim. Keep a digital copy as well.

  4. Report issues within 48 hours of delivery

Inspect your shipment on arrival. Late reports may be rejected, especially for damage — we cannot verify the timing of the damage after that window.

  5. Photograph the damage and the packaging

Both the damaged item and its outer packaging are required to process a damage claim. Take photos before unpacking further.
