What is Full Volumetric, No Volumetric & Half Volumetric?
Full Volumetric, No Volumetric, and Half Volumetric are the calculation methods of the chargeable weight of goods.
What is FULL VOLUMETRIC?
FULL VOLUMETRIC means the actual weight or volume weight, whichever is heavier will be charged.
Volumetric weight calculation:
length (L) * width (W) * height (H) / 6000 (calculated in cm) = volumetric weight kg
*Even using parcel bags, if the volume is heavier than the actual weight, the final freight will be charged according to the volume.
*Compared with actual weight and volume weight, the heavier fee will be charged.
Example 1
The actual weight of the goods: 15KG
The actual volume of the goods: length 50 CM * width 50 CM * height 50 CM
The volume weight of the box: (Length 50 CM * Width 50 CM * Height 50 CM) / 6000 = 20.83 KG
(20.83 kg integer is calculated as 21kg)
Reminder * If it is below 20.4KG, it will be calculated as 20 KG
The actual weight of the goods ：15 kg and
The volume weight of the goods ：21 kg.
In a situation , the volume weight of 21 KG will be charged.
Example 2
The actual weight of the goods: 25KG
The actual volume of the goods: length 60 CM * width 55 CM * height 42 CM
The volume weight of the goods:
(length 60 CM * width 55 CM * height 42 CM) / 6000 = 23.1 KG (23.1 kg integer is 23kg charge)
Reminder * If it is below 23.4KG, it will be calculated as 23 KG
The actual weight of the package is 25 kg, and the volume weighs 23 kg.
In a situation like this, the actual weight of 25 KG will be charged.
What is HALF VOLUMETRIC?
HALF VOLUMETRIC means to balance the charge according to the actual weight of the package and the weight of the thrown weight.
*According to the actual weight of the goods + volume weight of the goods ÷ 2, the calculated weight will be charged.
Example 1
The actual weight is 15KG, the volume weight is 21KG ,
Actual weight 15KG + volume weight 21KG = 36KG ÷ 2 = 18KG
Half volumetic is calculated based on 18KG shipping.
If the half-throw weight is 18.68, it will be charged based on the carry algorithm, and the final calculation will be 19KG.
Reminder * If it is below 18.4 KG, it will be calculated as 18 KG
What is NO VOLUMETRIC?
NO VOLUMETRIC not charge based on the volume, regardless of the size, and charge directly according to the actual weight of the goods.
*The charge is based on the actual weight of the goods, not the volume weight of the goods.
Example
The actual weight of the goods: 15KG
The volume weight of the goods: (Length 50 CM * Width 50 CM * Height 50 CM) / 6000 = 20.83 KG
(Integer of 20.83 kg is charged as 21kg)
In a situation like this, the actual weight of 15 KG will be charged.
The Importer terminology you must know
Want to ship bulk shipments from China to Malaysia, but don't know the difference between those importers' terminology?
"EXW? FOB? CNF/CIF?
Introduce three importer terminology you must know, let you easy to communicate with the logistic company when you need these services.
First: EXW（EXWORK）
Logistic company will help to contact China supplier to load goods into container, arrange container to China port, arrange shipping schedule, handle double customs clearance and taxs of China and Malaysia, and arrange local transport to deliver goods to the location you assigned.
What the customer needs to do is place an order with the supplier, and then send the pickup address to the logistic company.
The second: FOB (Free On Board)
The scope of the transportation company's responsibility is to transport the container from China to your designated delivery location.
The company will help you arrange the shipping schedule, resolve local customs clearance and tax matters in Malaysia, and then arrange local transportation to the destination you assigned.
And customers will need to do more things, such as placing an order with a China supplier and then asking the China supplier to send the container to a China port.
The third type: CNF/CIF (Cost and Freight / Cost, Insurance and Freight)
The shipping company will start receiving your container from the Malaysian port, and then deliver it to your designated delivery address.
In this service, the shipping company will help you with customs clearance and tax in Malaysia and then arrange local shipping and delivery.
Customers will need to do more things, such as placing orders with China suppliers and letting China suppliers arrange transportation to Malaysian ports.

NORMAL PLAN mainly protects all the parcels in the delivery order, shipments of any price can be insured. If the package is lost, it will be fully compensated!
PREMIUM PLAN mainly protects a single shipment and insured shipment which is above RM1000 and above RM50000, the insured amount is based on 4% of the total value of a single shipment. Customers get compensation partial or full if the shipment is damaged while a lost shipment can get full compensation.

NORMAL PLAN's insurance is to protect all parcels in the Delivery Order that you have selected.
The insured amount is 3% of the total value of the goods in the Delivery Order and RM10 for service fees.
(1) How to purchase a Normal Plan of goods in transit insurance?
(2) How to calculate the amount you need to pay?
3% of the total value of the shipments in the Delivery Order + RM10 service fees
For example: the total value of 4 items in the D.O. is RM 248, then you need to insure RM 7.44 (248*3% = RM 7.44 ) + RM10 service fee = RM 17.44

(3) How does insurance compensate?
For a normal plan, we do compensate for missing parcels.
(4) Things you need to pay attention:
(a) This policy applies to the insurance of the delivery order.
(b) In case of missing goods, you can ask customer service for compensation.
(c) No compensation can be claimed for damage to the goods (if the goods are expensive, it is recommended to buy PREMIUM PLAN separately).
(d) It is recommended not to open the parcels immediately after receiving it, weigh it first, and take a photo of the weight.
(e) If you find that the parcel is missing, please give feedback and give the D.O. number and shipment information within 48 hours after being received. Overdue will not be accepted.
(f) The price given must be true. If the price does not match the invoice price, our company will be eligible to refuse compensation.
(g) If it is found that the invoice provided by the customer is false, no compensation will be paid.
(h) If the declaration is false or there are contraband goods, any additional legal liability or confiscated goods will be borne by the customer; the insured amount and shipping fees will not be refunded.
(I) This insurance compensation will be paid according to the price of the goods, up to a maximum of RM 50,000.
